This is a very different restaurant from Restaurante Sebastian. It looks shabby and a little downtrodden and it’s the busy tables, even in Winter, that tell the true story. Tourists and locals alike frequent this place, not only for the stunning views down across Costa Adeje and the sea, but for their famous chicken with garlic sauce. Make sure you get the chips, they’re perfectly squishy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
There’s obviously other things on the menu too, but to be honest, I could almost see the drool as the Thomson rep told me about the chicken and chips so decided to trust his opinion. And I’m very glad I did.
Top Tip: Reward yourself with a chilled Coke and Otelo’s chicken and chips after walking the Barranco de Infierno. You deserve it.
A portion of chicken and chips is approximately €8.
